2021 – Entered into MOU with GVP Institute of Medical Technology and relocated the Hospice to GVP Medical College Hospital, Vishapatnam. The challenge posed by COVID-19 pandemic did not deter the foundation in extending its services to the needy and ACF has also been a part of the relef activities for COVID victims by way free distribution of COVID medications kits to the people in interior tribal areas.

2020 – Centre for Palliative & Supportive care was relocated to the premises of Pradhama Hospital, Venkojipalem, Visakhapatnam. The facility started services on the auspicious day of Vijaya Dasami, 24th October, 2020, in the midst of the COVID pandemic times.

2015 – The outreach medical camps were further expanded to interior places like Chodavaram, where quite a large number of people have utilized our services. More and more Palliative Care awareness programs were conducted to sensitize the community about Palliative Care and it’s critical need in patient care.

2014 – The center for Palliative and Supportive care moved into the main building of St.Joseph’s Hospital, Visakhapatnam. The new facility offered more space and better facilities. We could offer comprehensive palliative care and gradually our patient intake increased.

2013 – Further expanded our outreach services by adding more out-patient clinics and old age homes. Clinics started in One town area and Daba Gardens, Visakhapatnam. Patients were screened for hypertension and diabetes in particular. The health check ups and medicines distributed, were all provided free of cost.

2012 – Age Care Foundation was established as a charitable trust on 24th August 2012. It was sponsored by “Sneha Sandhya” a society of Senior Citizens working for the welfare of elders since 2004. We started, at “St.Joseph’s Hospice”, Visakhapatnam, conducting outpatient geriatric clinics across the city and old age home visits.
